Silvereye,
Zosterops lateralis
-
The 'Silvereye' is a tiny
olive green bird with, as the name suggests, a silvery white ring around the
eye.
-
They are common along the
eastern and southern coast of Australia and it's offshore islands.
-
They can be seen flitting
in small groups through the canopy of the coastal rainforest, such as the
picnic area at Dubuji at Cape Tribulation.
